What I was really hanging around for, I was trying to feel some kind of a good-by. I mean I've left schools and places I didn't even know I was leaving them. I hate that. I don't care if it's a sad good-by or a bad good-by, but when I leave a place I like to know I'm leaving it. If you don't, you feel even worse.

I'm way past the expiration date age for reading young adult novels so the plot seems a bit far fetched, if not completely unbelievable. But I am intrigued at how a film with a mixed cast shot in Japan by an American director will hold up.

And how cute was Anton Yelchin at that press conference?!

I'll probably see this film through illegal means. But you did not hear that from me! HAHAHAHA.

Work has been giving me the blues lately. I work for a national newspaper and this past week, there has been nothing in the news but fires, political mud-slinging and election-related violence.

And now Haiti. This is a real tragedy. The kind that makes you itch because you want to give hands on help, but can't. From the Red Cross:

My heart goes out to Haiti and it's people, especially those who were most affected by the earthquake.

My little list of resolutions for the year 2010

1. Try to stay healthy. Looking at the collapsed veins in my arms from all the confinements, check ups and other medical emergencies, I look like I have track marks! I'm really hoping for something similar to the hypospray technology that doesn't leave any puncture wounds.

2. Try to be a bit of a lemming. Just a bit, not too much! I have this FUCK-THE-NORM attitude that I tend to miss the fun things about certain trends.

3. Try to stay away from Japanese mayonnaise. Seriously, I'm addicted to it. I use it for sandwiches, on ham, I dip my chips in it, on vegetables... CLEARLY, I NEED HELP.

In all honesty, New Year's is important to me, but I gotta leave room for the Lunar New Year celebrations. LOL.
